dirty three points...yeah dirty three points

damn you dirty three points. yes i know beloved viewers it seems as though it has been eons since i tapped away at my trusty laptop keys but truth been known i have only officially recovered from the preliminary final loss. buckets of sara lee french vanilla ice-cream later, a few blocks of old gold 70%, ignoring barry's pleas to get back on top of him ( ok calm down, barry is the pet name for my elliptical trainer- tricked ya) i wallowed for months in the deep pit of what if...if only...(damn you umpires coz seriously we should have been paid those free kicks). and then the audacity of sydney to be absolutely crapola on the biggest day of the year. come on admit it footy followers wasn't the GF just rubbish? imagine if it had been us oh i mean the POWER. we too could have whipped sydneys ass. but imagining is for the day dreamers viewers, reality is what we want. and what do we want? nothing less than the coveted premiership cup. and that folks is not unrealistic if all goes according to plan and the footy gods shine down upon us.

      well the prelim was nothing short of nail biting, heart palpitating on the verge of completely frothing at the mouth. blessed to be at the G with the lady army plus others it certainly was no disgrace. so close yet so far away.hawks were all class but port kicked themselves out of the game. and as much as i wanted us to propel ourselves into what would have been unimaginable and unthinkable a few years ago, i knew in my heart that we were just that smidge away from being ready. now that we have become seasoned finals campaigners i stick with my original prediction of being in contention for 2015. and i am not the only one saying that.

      putting that aside i would like to take the opportunity to thank my fellow lady army members plus others although i am beginning to wonder if there is a mole amongst us. you are going to find this hard to believe viewers you may be even clutching your face in horror but we do have among us in the plus others a crows supporter. yes true and you maybe wondering why we haven't  tied him up and set his scarf on fire yet but he is married to one of our esteemed members. (and she has been granted a concession) but don't despair she will and we will be keeping a close eye on him this season. and yes the season will soon be upon us and with that i shall continue to entertain you with my rantings oops i mean writings. until the first round keep being footy and fabulous.

PS the real reason we lost the prelim final was because i didn't sell my port power raffle book. i know, i know...the shame, the shame. but i have already rectified that for the 2015 season and have returned my book fully sold. GO POWER, POWER ON!!!
