FROM the
COUCH....post game wrap...ah nothing like being a loungeroom spectator viewers,
the convenience, red wine one step away, the fridge, the couch...cozy, nothing
like watching the footy in the comfort of your own loungeroom and shouting at
the TV as if you are really there...COME ON!!! BULLSHIT UMPIRE!!!
YEAH!!!...hee,hee. four in a row, woo hoo a fine effort for the start of the
season and optimism perfumes the air, nothing like the smell and taste of
success. still a reality check, the season is long but being an avid PORT
supporter i feel a tiny bit entitled to be sounding my horn just a little after
the last bleak two years that made me want to run onto the field at half time
and give them the supporters spill..."OMG what is the matter with you? My
mother can run faster than you, get off your goozicas and stick to your man for
goodness sakes!!! You are playing like a bunch of stara babas..." (
translated ...get off your bum you are playing like a bunch of old grandmas!!!)
but fortuntaely so far i have been able to clap my hands with joy and shout
encouraging comments and high five the air a million times and connect with
fellow supporters at the game as if we are the bestest of friends even if their
dobra frizzura ain't so dobra!!! and i can tell you i saw one dobra frizzura
that should be in the frizzura hall of fame, oh my goodness what was going on
with that woman's frizzura defied belief, hee hee!!!!
so watching the POWER kick into top gear in the second quarter led to much high fiving with Eli who had run to his cupboard to pull his guernsey out and get us both into our PORT gear for the couch. footy bonding at its best, teaching my little man the names of the players through the convenience of the PORT app on my iphone, yes indeed if you don't have your teams app on your phone i highly recommend it. must say i was thoroughly impressed with Hamish Hartlett who has the hallmark stamp of future leadership...and welcome back to the DOM and Robbie Gray who will add depth and experience to the side. well viewers if you followed KAZZA'S tips this week i take no responsibility for your semi crap score and don't bother putting your complaints in writing coz i am a one woman tribunal and the MISS MARGIE says...NO. five from nine but it could have been worse. CONGRATS to the DEMONS for their first win and a tiny lift to a demoralizing start to the season. TIGERS were muted by the PIES who swooped down upon them for a comfortable victory and yes those ROOS don't make the mistake of underestimating that team. BLOODY FREO!!! PUSSYCATS off to a flying start with 4 from 4 and yes youse CROWS supporters must be feeling a little relieved with a respectable win in foul weather conditions. until round five keep your frizzuras in check...hee,hee, FROM the COUCH...female, footy and fabulous!!!!
